I saw this commercial on the history channel the other day and couldn’t stop laughing! This is exactly why you should back up your computer data. Who would ever think that something like this would happen but you know what, it does! It’s a funny video to watch, but in reality this would be horrifying! It really makes you stop and think of how important data backup really is. This is a prime example of “it will never happen to me” Click here to watch…

I’m Officially “Google Gazed”
I actually just came up with this saying a moment ago. Not sure if it’s an original or if it seeped into my subconscious at some point in time. My definition of “Google Gaze”: an intent focused stare while searching the Internet for must have information. Only to be broken by a hot latte falling off the table onto ones lap.

Snow for Christmas
It’s a cold winter’s night here in the Midwest and snow is the forecast for Christmas Eve. How lovely it would be to have a white Christmas. Unfortunately the snow has halted travel out east and we’ve even felt the effects of this having relatives stuck in New York. It’s like the movie “Trains Planes and Automobiles” but with Christmas instead of it being Thanksgiving.
We’re looking forward to a nice break during the Holidays. I’m looking forward to cooking a turkey and making homemade pumpkin pie.
On a technical note, I’ve managed to wrap up my Christmas shopping thanks to Amazon.com. What did we ever do without online shopping? I remember years ago having to battle the crowds at the mall and dig through picked over merchandise. Thank goodness those days are long gone. Don’t get me wrong, I do enjoy shopping in a “real” store but it’s more of a joyful relaxing experience and we really only go if we’re just browsing around without a need to actually make a purchase. But for serious online shopping under a deadline online is the only way for me!
A note regarding online shopping, always be sure that you’re spyware and virus software is up to date or you could get more than you bargained for. We’re always happy to help you with that at UrbanComputerRepair.com
Happy Holidays!
